Information

Dear Branch secretaries and Presidents,

Some information on promotion from CM to JWM and cadre review of Gr 'B' is appended below:
  1. AIANGO has posted in their blog that promotions from CM to JWM will be released in the last week of May. Today is the last day of May and yet the DPC is not held, How promotions will be ordered without holding the DPC?
  2. Promotions will be ordered in the month of June. DPC will be held next week preferably on Monday or Tuesday. Approximate Number of promotions will be 488 - Mech, 100 - Electrical, 12 - Chem, 60 - Metallurgy and no confirmation is there with CE for rest of the streams.
  3. Regarding Cadre review, the CE has faxed a letter to Chairman/OFB demanding a member from NDNGSA in Cadre review committee.
  4. In the meantime all are requested to contact maximum members at their branches and take their views. Send the suggestions regarding cadre review from your branch through the CE member or CE office bearer from your factory. After that the final proposal from NDNGSA side will be drafted based on the suggestions given by all NDNGSA members thus following a true democratic practice.
  5. The OFB has directed the Cadre review committee to review whether 2 grade supervisory structure as per VI CPC is beneficial or the old 4 grade structure. Now OFB might have understood that who thinks and works for the interest of organization? AIANGO or NDNGSA. Right from the day when VI CPC report was published, NDNGSA was protesting against mergers in supervisory cadre and demanded for 4 grade structure with enhanced grade pay. But AIANGO staged various protests and done hunger strike to merge the grades in supervisory cadre into 2.

Yours truly
